ANVL UKON DPP is a micro Leupold Delta Point Pro rifle mount that incorporates a single focal plane absolute co-witness backup iron sight package. It utilizes a standard type AR-15 adjustable front sight post. It has the ability to adjust elevation. The user can adjust elevation to be point of aim, point of impact for subsonic rounds while still running the red dot for super sonic and vice versa. It can be used as an absolute cowitness as well for a backup if the red dot fails. Because it is a single focal plane, and it is so close together for a sight picture; the irons actually act like a backup red dot. The mount is constructed from 6061 aluminum with a Class III hard coat.
*Note* the mounts in the white background photos are the EXACT mounts that are being sold. A single sided bladed iron. The end-user can swap out the front sight post for any standard AR-15 sight post. They do not come with the Trijicon tritium sight post.
DISCLAIMER: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN SCREWS. Once they are hand tight, a single quarter turn is adequate for tightness. Apply red Loctite to your screws before installing. Make sure the optic is run as far forward as you can on your weapon system. It was not designed to be run at the rear of a receiver because it will cause the irons to blur out on the user. The most beneficial position would be as forward as possible, similar to the position of a pistol in front of a user.
Length: 2.50in
DISCLAIMER: ANVL UKON mounts are an emergency backup iron sight system. These were designed as a military requirement to fulfill the backup iron sight requirement while keeping rail space open for the operator. The intended use is within fifty yards or much less, in a CQB capacity; if the end users Red Dot sight is damaged, battery has died, or never powered on. This optic Mount system relies on true mechanical zero between the optic Mount, Rail and Barrel to have accurate windage.
DISCLAIMER: Torque Spec is 35-37 in lb for the 10-24 Clamp Screws. Accessories should always be installed by a professional.
ANVL UKON mounts are built and constructed to be a perfect mechanical zero from mount to rail. Make sure that your optic is seated correctly, and tighten down on the truest mechanical zero you can get. When mounting the optic Mount, make sure the amount is completely seated and the picatinny rail is tight against the non screw head side of the rail before tightening.
Reasons for windage to be off: Loose tolerances picatinny rail, out of spec tolerances picatinny rail, non-con Centric Barrel, mounting the optic mount to a polymer picatinny rail riveted to a sheet metal dust cover, poor tolerancing between barrel and picatinny rail.

I have this on a few different platforms. For the sheer simplicity, and not having to have iron sights as well as your red dot optic, this can’t be beat.
