Custom OWB Holsters, Built One at a Time

Every ANR Design OWB holster starts as flat KYDEX® in Manchester, NH and ends as a rig molded to your exact configuration — your pistol, your light, your colors, your mounting style. No universal shells, no "fits most": we maintain hundreds of dedicated gun fitments across Glock, Sig, CZ, FN, S&W, and thirty other makers, with over twenty weapon-light options molded as one unit with the gun. Suppressor-height sights and mounted red dots clear as standard on every shell.

Speed and access are engineered in: retention is click-adjustable on every build, ride height and cant dial to your draw, and the Nidhogg's QLS/RTI mounting lets one holster move between drop-leg, belt, and quick-detach setups. A mix of configurations with some qualifying for Quick Ship in both right- and left-handed builds, with the exact lead time priced live in the builder before you order. And every holster carries a free Lifetime Warranty on the KYDEX® shell — automatic, no registration.

OWB Questions, Answered Straight

What's the difference between the Standard OWB and the Nidhogg?

The Standard OWB is belt carry, built simple — fast on and off, no mounting hardware to think about. The Nidhogg adds QLS/RTI mounting for drop-leg and modular belt setups, built for duty and competition work.

Can I carry a weapon light OWB?

Yes — over twenty light fitments molded as one unit with the gun, from the TLR-7 series through the Surefire X300s, light fully enclosed with retention on the trigger guard. Many light-bearing combinations Quick Ship in both hands.

Will an OWB holster work with my red dot and tall sights?

Every shell we make clears slide-mounted optics and suppressor-height sights as standard, at no extra cost.

What's the Nidhogg II's active retention?

A patented light-specific locking mechanism with push-button release — duty-grade retention that stays secure through a physical struggle and still draws clean under pressure.

How should OWB retention feel?

A deliberate click on the trigger guard — secure enough to hold through movement, free enough for a clean draw. Retention is adjustable on every build, and our precision molding means it locks on the gun's geometry, not on friction and hope.

Do you make left-handed OWB holsters?

Every fitment, every configuration — and most left-handed builds qualify for the same Quick Ship tier as right-handed ones. The builder shows your exact lead time.

Is OWB legal to open carry where I live?

Open carry laws vary by state and locality — verify yours before carrying openly. Plenty of our OWB customers carry concealed under a jacket instead.

What warranty comes with an OWB holster?

Every ANR Design holster includes a free Lifetime Warranty on the KYDEX® shell for the original purchaser — automatic on every order, no registration.
