The M203 Retention Clamp was born during a request from one of our Military partners needing an on-body, Soldier Systems retention system for the M203 stand alone launchers. We wanted to make the M203 Retention Clamp similar to our battle-tested Rattler MCX clamps we did for a different Military partner. We knew this style of clamp would be successful with the addition of a strap or buckle. We are using squadron material with a small, Â 1/2″ buckle to clasp the system. The bulk of the retention comes from the 0.125″ thick KYDEX that is vacuum formed into the ribs of the grip on the 40mm tube. The M203 Retention Clamp also comes together at the trigger guard to prevent any sliding of the launcher system, in the retention clamp itself. The buckle MUST be clasped over the rear LMT Leaf Elevation Sight.
