If you’re just starting your journey finding the right holster, you know there’s a lot of choices out there that kind of leave a lot to be desired. I won’t name names but there are a few companies that absolutely rock and this one is my number 1 choice. I have 7 different holsters from ANR Design for various different platforms including various different magazine holsters and it really doesn’t get any better than this. Perfect retention, they sit right where you want them and they look incredible with a clean fit and finish. These days, everyone seems to want a micro compact and tells you that fullsize can’t be carried but they are wrong. ANR’s holsters make it so that even a fullsize feels comfortable to carry without printing. I always spring for the DCC monoblock as it locks in easily and remains secure all day. The finishes are outstanding even on the plain single color options. Carbon Fiber Foliage and Mas Grey are my favorite patterns unless I want to be tacticool with the Crye Multicam Alpine but you literally can’t go wrong with any color. Even the plain black looks great. Additionally their service is like no other in the industry and they make sure they deliver the best products around. Even manufacturers have entrusted them to build holsters for new launches so you know they’re held in high regard as the best in the business.

I’ve bought several of these holsters for my different pistols over the years and they are outstanding! I had one crack after years of use and it was likely because I changed to solid bushings to use a neomag T post instead of using the rubber ones the holster comes with. Great product, the fit and finish is always been great. Ive got another in the mail as I type this.

Got the ANR P80 Compact IWB light bearing with RMR cut and suppressor height sights in standard black kydex. Been test driving it a week. I have 4 other pistols, each with 2 or 3 holsters. This is one of the best fitting kydex jobs I’ve seen, arguably the best. And that says a lot considering the weapon light makes the job all the more difficult.
The little details in the fit are all spot on. For instance, with the P80 holstered, the cut out at the bottom where the light and barrel crown end is perfectly symmetrical, where both sides of kydex hug the weapon light ring and barrel tip evenly. I’ve seen subtle fit issues with other brands where one side of the kydex sandwich is closer than the other. Quality press job. The holster locks perfectly with no jiggle and a crisp click into place, yet the weapon is easily extracted without feeling like I’m going to take my pants with it. If I had to find something to even mention as a negative, and this is me really poking around for something to say just so sound impartial, I’d mention the kydex cuts could use a slightly more uniform polishing. Maybe a hint of a rough spot around aggressive corners. Ultra nit pick though and not really a valid complaint, as it doesn’t affect functionality at all. This is a solid holster for a reasonable price. Very happy.
