Our Shield 9mm EZ holsters are molded on the actual gun — and the EZ genuinely is its own gun: larger than a standard Shield, internal-hammer-fired rather than striker, with the grip safety riding exactly where the mold expects it, fully functional in the holster and never pinned or blocked by the shell. Retention clicks on the trigger guard, and suppressor-height sights clear as standard with optic accommodation for slide-milled dots.
Running the Shield 380 EZ? It’s a separate fitment — select your exact caliber in the builder.
Carry Options for the Shield 9mm EZ
Inside the Waistband (IWB): The EZ carries as comfortably as it racks — our IWB rig pairs it with an in-house concealment claw and your choice of injection-molded clips, heat-treated DCC Monoblock steel, or the NeoMag Alias system, with ride height and cant adjustment. Made to order, with the exact lead time shown live in the builder.
OWB — Standard & Nidhogg: The same dedicated fitment outside the waistband — belt carry on the Standard OWB, range and nightstand-duty configurations on the Nidhogg.
Spare Magazines: Shield EZ-pattern magazines — loading tab and all — have a dedicated fitment in our Pistol Mag builder, built to pair with any holster above.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the grip safety work inside the holster?
It doesn’t need to — and that’s the point: the shell is molded around the grip safety without depressing it, so the gun sits fully safe at rest and the safety engages naturally the moment you establish your grip on the draw.
Will a standard Shield holster fit my Shield EZ?
No — the EZ is a larger gun with different geometry, hammer-fired where the Shield is striker-fired, and its own frame. Ours is a dedicated EZ fitment, molded on the actual pistol.
Will this fit the Shield 380 EZ?
No — the 380 EZ is its own fitment, and we mold both. Select your exact caliber in the builder.
Can I get a light-bearing Shield EZ holster?
Our EZ configurations are currently non-lightbearing, which keeps the rig simple and light — in the spirit of the gun itself. If that changes, the builder shows it first.
What warranty comes with a Shield EZ holster?
