The 2.0 line is one family and four different guns to a holster, so we mold four dedicated shells — match your barrel length and the fitment is exact:
3.6″ — the Subcompact: S&W’s concealment specialist, full double-stack grip under the shortest slide. 4″ — the Compact: the do-everything length S&W badges “Compact.” 4.25″ — the Service length: the original duty configuration, the one agencies issue. 5″ — the Long Slide: competition sight radius, covered to the muzzle. Every shell covers 9mm and .40 S&W together (the calibers share the geometry a holster molds around), interchangeable backstraps never affect fit, and slide-mounted optics and suppressor-height sights clear as standard.

Which M&P 2.0 holster fits my gun?

Is the “2.0 Compact” the 4″ and the “Subcompact” the 3.6″?
Yes — S&W’s Compact badge is the 4″ slide and the Subcompact is the 3.6″. Whichever name your receipt used, select the matching length and you’re fit.
Does one holster fit the 9mm and .40?
Yes — at every length, the two calibers share the slide and frame geometry our shells mold around. Retention locks identically on both.
