Sig P2022 Fitment — Gen 1 vs Gen 2
The P2022 changed its rail between generations, and the rail changes the holster: the Gen 1 wears Sig’s proprietary 3-slot rail, the Gen 2 a standard rail — so we mold each generation its own dedicated shell rather than splitting the difference. Carry Options for the Sig P2022
Inside the Waistband (IWB): The P2022 carries like the service gun it is, and our IWB rig civilizes it — in-house concealment claw, your choice of injection-molded clips, heat-treated DCC Monoblock steel, or the NeoMag Alias system, with ride height and cant adjustment. Will a Gen 2 P2022 holster fit my Gen 1?
No — the Gen 1’s proprietary 3-slot rail and the Gen 2’s standard rail give the two generations different holster-relevant geometry, so each gets its own dedicated shell. Select your generation in the builder.
Can I run a weapon light on my Gen 1’s 3-slot rail?
Yes — our light-bearing shells are molded to the gun with the light mounted. Note that some lights attach to the Gen 1’s proprietary rail via Sig’s rail insert; however your light mounts, the holster is formed to the assembled combination you select in the builder.
Is this the same gun as the SIG Pro SP2022?
Yes — SP2022, SIG Pro 2022, and P2022 are the same pistol family under different marketing names across its long production run, and our fitments cover it by generation.
Can I get a left-handed P2022 holster?
