Icarus XMACRO Fitment & Compatibility
Our Icarus XMACRO holsters are molded on the pistol with the Icarus Precision grip module installed — not on a stock gun and hoped for the best. Swapping the factory polymer module for machined aluminum changes the frame geometry right where a KYDEX shell indexes, so an Icarus-equipped XMACRO is a different gun to a mold than a factory one. This shell is formed to that profile, with retention clicking positively and a clean, unobstructed draw.
Every ANR shell is optic-ready and cut for suppressor-height sights as standard — not an upcharge, not a box to check. Run a red dot, run tall irons, run both, or run neither; the same holster fits. Your setup can change without your holster having to.

Carry Options for the Icarus XMACRO
Inside the Waistband (IWB): An aluminum module adds weight and grip where it counts, and a holster has to keep up — our IWB rig pairs it with an in-house concealment claw and your choice of injection-molded clips, heat-treated DCC Monoblock steel, or the NeoMag Alias system, with ride height and cant adjustment. Made to order, with the exact lead time shown live in the builder.
Light-Bearing: Light-bearing configurations are molded as a single gun-and-light unit rather than a standard shell with clearance cut into it. Select your light in the builder to see current fitments for the Icarus-equipped gun.
OWB: A heavier, full-grip carry gun handles like a service pistol and belt carry suits it — configure belt attachment and cant in the builder.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I use my stock XMACRO holster with an Icarus module?
Because the module changes the frame where the shell grips. A holster molded on the factory polymer module won’t index the same way on machined aluminum, and retention is only as good as the surface it’s formed to. The Icarus-equipped gun gets its own shell.
Which Icarus module does this fit?

Do I need to order an optic cut for my red dot?
No — every ANR holster is optic-ready as standard, with clearance built in for a mounted red dot. There’s nothing to select and nothing to add.
Will suppressor-height sights clear?
Yes — every shell is cut for suppressor-height sights as standard, so tall irons, backup irons behind an optic, and standard sights all clear the same holster.
Does the magazine choice affect fit?
No — magazines never affect the shell. The holster molds around the slide and trigger guard, so every magazine option carries identically.
Is the striker trigger safe in a KYDEX® holster?
That’s exactly what the holster is for — the shell fully encloses the trigger guard, so nothing reaches the trigger until the gun clears the holster. A rigid, full trigger-guard cover is the foundation of safe carry.
