Custom KYDEX® Holsters for the Glock 48 w/ 15 Rd Factory Mag
The 48 — the 43X’s long-slide sibling sharing the same slimline frame, the same magazines, and therefore the same fork. Parallel package:
Hero:
The Glock 48 is the slimline sweet spot — the 43X’s frame under a full 4.17″ slide, the sight radius and balance of a compact with single-stack-adjacent width — and Glock’s factory 15-round magazine completed the pitch: real capacity in the slim envelope. It also brought the same quiet fitment catch: the 15-rounder is its own magazine, and a carrier molded for the 10-round factory mags won’t retain it. We mold for both, and our builders ask which you run. ANR Design builds custom KYDEX® Glock 48 holsters with 15-round factory mag support in Manchester, NH — the same dedicated 48 shell (MOS included), paired with a mag carrier molded specifically for the factory 15-rounder wherever your build includes one. IWB, Daishō sidecar, standard OWB, or Nidhogg — configure yours below and select your magazine when asked.

Same Gun, Different Magazine — Why the Builder Asks
The holster half is unchanged: the Glock 48 (MOS included) rides its dedicated shell — the longer slimline slide molded exactly, the magazine living below the grip where a holster never touches. The fork is the mag carrier: Glock’s factory 15-rounder wears its own body dimensions apart from the 10-round factory mags, and a pocket molded for one won’t retain the other. Wherever your build includes magazine retention — the Daishō sidecar’s integrated carrier, or a paired carrier with any holster — the builder asks which magazine you feed, and the carrier comes molded for exactly that.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a different holster for the 15-round mags?
No — the holster fits the gun, and the 48 didn’t change. Only the mag carrier differs by magazine.
Will my existing carrier fit the new factory 15-rounder?
If it was molded for the 10-round factory mags, no — the 15 is dimensionally its own magazine. Order a carrier configured for the 15 and it retains correctly.
Do the 48 and 43X share mag carriers?
Yes — the slimline frame family feeds from the same magazines, so the carrier question is identical across the 43X and 48: it’s the magazine version that decides the fitment, not which gun it feeds.
What about aftermarket steel 15-round mags?
Different dimensions again — the aftermarket steel 15s and Glock’s factory 15 don’t share a body. Select exactly what you run in the builder, and if you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.
