Premium Kydex IWB, OWB & Appendix Carry
Maximize the concealment potential and tactical readiness of your ultra-compact everyday carry with a premium, precision-engineered Glock 42 holster from ANR Design. Custom-molded for Glock’s iconic single-stack .380 ACP pocket pistol, our holsters provide an absolute zero-play frame fit, clean mechanical snap retention, and comfortable all-day wear. Every rig comes optics-ready standard, features an open-ended muzzle layout for threaded barrels or compensators, and provides an over-cut channel to clear tall suppressor-height sights.
Our product grid features our full suite of automated Custom Holster Builders. Select your preferred deployment method below to launch our builders for standard Inside the Waistband (IWB) concealment, the Master Blaster Appendix Sidecar, the modular Daisho Appendix System, standard OWB pancake profiles, or Nidhogg Tactical Dropleg rigs. The builder dynamically processes our fulfillment tiers under the hood—popular high-volume setups instantly clear for our fast 5–7 day Quick Ship processing line, while specialty prints or unique colorways route to our standard custom manufacturing queue.

Glock 42 Fitment & Engineering Specs
When carrying an ultra-concealable defensive tool, loose holster tolerances defeat the purpose. Every ANR Design holster is vacuum-formed over custom in-house CNC-machined molds to follow the exact geometric frame lines of your firearm.
-
Dedicated Glock 42 Fitment: This collection is precision-molded exclusively for the Glock 42 .380 ACP. Please note: Because the Glock 42 features a significantly scaled-down frame size, these holsters will NOT accommodate the Glock 43, 43X, or 48 9mm models.
-
Open-Ended Muzzle (Comp Ready): All of our Glock 42 holsters feature an open-ended muzzle design to allow seamless clearance for extended threaded barrels and aftermarket micro-compensators. Please specify the exact make and model of the compensator you are running in the customer notes at checkout.
-
Optics & Suppressor-Sight Clearance: Cut standard to seamlessly clear major micro-reflex sights matching the RMSc or Holosun K footprints (including the Holosun 407k/507k/EPS Carry) without degrading mechanical shell retention. The over-cut sight channel accommodates tall aftermarket sights up to 0.450”.
-
Proprietary ANR Hardware: We don’t rely on generic polymer clips. Our concealment claws and injection-molded loops are engineered entirely in-house to optimize clip security and maximize the concealment angle against your gun belt.
Carry Style & Mounting Hardware Ecosystem
Inside the Waistband (IWB) Concealment
Designed to make an ultra-compact frame completely invisible under lightweight clothing. Our standard IWB rigs utilize our proprietary concealment claws (wings) to push the pistol grip directly into your torso line. Mounting options include standard 1.5″ and 1.75″ injection clips, or premium upgrades to heat-treated Discrete Carry Concepts (DCC) steel alloy Monoblocks and NeoMag Alias architectures.
Master Blaster Appendix Sidecar
For shooters who demand an all-in-one defensive payload, the Master Blaster is our dedicated appendix-carry rig featuring an integrated spare magazine carrier. By anchoring the pistol shell and mag carrier into a single, beautifully contoured Kydex platform, the Master Blaster balances weight evenly across your belt line while keeping your reload instantly accessible at the centerline.
Daisho Performance Appendix System
Our premier modular appendix platform pairs the Glock 42 shell with an ultra-flexible, woven Tegris® Wing structural assembly (available in Carbon Fiber, Coyote Tan, or Black Tegris). The Daisho bypasses standard polymer attachments entirely, using low-profile DCC steel clips (Standard, FDE, Topo, or Tiger Stripe) or full NeoMag Alias T-Post hardware to anchor your setup with absolute mechanical rigidity.
Standard OWB Pancake & Nidhogg Tactical
Even micro-compact pistols belong on the range or training belt. Our Standard OWB features curved Pancake Loops or easy on/off Speed Clips engineered to wrap tightly to your waistline for close outside-the-waistband placement. For active environments, heavy outerwear, or battle belts, our Nidhogg series features pre-drilled hole matrices natively compatible with leading quick-detach hardware, including Safariland QLS, G-Code RTI, and Blade-Tech Tek-Lok systems.
Supported Weapon Lights & True Retention
Because of the highly specific accessory rail geometry on the Glock 42 frame, our light-bearing molds are engineered with tight-tolerance retention profiles built right into the shell. We actively manufacture Glock 42 light-bearing fits for:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the lead time for an ANR Design Glock 42 holster?
Our builders utilize automated inventory logic to calculate your processing timeline dynamically at checkout. Standard configurations in right or left hand automatically clear for our fast 5 to 7 business day Quick Ship tier. Selecting highly specialized limited-edition finishes, premium multi-cam wraps, or custom color hardware moves the build to our standard production queue, carrying a 3 to 5 week lead time.
Can a Glock 42 fit into a holster made for a Glock 43?
No. While they look visually identical in photos, the Glock 42 is built on a distinctly narrower frame and shorter slide profile than the Glock 43 9mm. If you place a Glock 42 into a Glock 43 holster, it will rattle loose, slip out, and fail to achieve safe, proper trigger guard mechanical coverage. Always run a dedicated Glock 42 shell.
Can I run a light-bearing holster if I take the TLR-6 off my gun?
No. Light-bearing Kydex holsters achieve their positive, audible mechanical click by forming tightly around the specific shell geometry of the weapon-mounted light. If you mount your Glock 42 inside a light-bearing holster without the TLR-6 attached to the frame, the firearm will rattle freely inside the shell and will not achieve safe or secure retention.
