FN FNS 9 Fitment & Compatibility
Our FN FNS 9 holsters are molded on a dedicated full-size FNS shell — formed to the FNS’s own slide and frame, not borrowed from the 509 that replaced it or the Compact beneath it. The FNS’s fully ambidextrous slide stop and mag release ride clear of the shell in either hand’s configuration, and retention clicks on the trigger guard with full authority.
Every FNS 9 holster clears suppressor-height sights as standard, with optic accommodation for slide-milled red dots.
Carry Options for the FN FNS 9
Inside the Waistband (IWB): A full-size striker gun carries flatter than its spec sheet suggests, and our IWB rig does the work — in-house concealment claw, your choice of injection-molded clips, heat-treated DCC Monoblock steel, or the NeoMag Alias system, with ride height and cant adjustment. Made to order, with the exact lead time shown live in the builder.
Light-Bearing: The FNS’s rail takes around twenty molded light fitments, including the Streamlight TLR-1 / HL / HL-X, TLR-2, and TLR-7 series, Surefire X300U-A & B and XC-series, Inforce APL, APL 3.0 & WILD 1, Olight PL-Mini, PL-Mini 2, PL-2 & PL-Pro, and Sig Foxtrot1X & 2R. Every shell is molded to the exact gun-and-light combination.
OWB — Standard & Nidhogg: The same dedicated fitment and light catalog outside the waistband — classic belt carry on the Standard OWB, range and working configurations on the Nidhogg.
Spare Magazines: The FNS 9/40 magazine series has a dedicated fitment in our Pistol Mag builder — Quick Ship eligible in every depth profile.

Do you still make FN FNS 9 holsters?
Yes — actively. FN moved on to the 509, but the FNS 9 keeps a dedicated fitment in our IWB and OWB builders, made to order like everything we build.
Will an FN 509 holster fit my FNS 9?
No — the 509 evolved from the FNS but changed the external geometry, so shells aren’t interchangeable between the families. We mold both; select your exact gun in the builder.
Will this holster fit my FNS 9 Compact?
No — the Compact wears a shorter slide and gets its own dedicated shell. Select the Compact specifically in the builder.
Does the FNS 40 fit this holster?
Our fitment is molded on the FNS 9. If you run the FNS 40, contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm fit for your pistol — and our FNS 9/40 magazine carrier covers both calibers either way.
