FN 509 Fitment & Compatibility
One ANR Design shell covers the FN 509, 509 Midsize, and 509 Tactical — the family shares the frame and slide geometry a holster indexes on, and the Tactical’s additions are handled by design: the threaded barrel rides through the open muzzle, suppressor-height sights clear the sight channel, and a mounted red dot clears as standard. Retention clicks on the trigger guard with full authority across all three.
Running the 509 Compact or 509C Tactical? The compact frame is its own geometry with its own dedicated shell — select it specifically in the builder.
Carry Options for the FN 509
Inside the Waistband (IWB): Duty-size carry done right — in-house concealment claw to tuck the full grip, your choice of injection-molded clips, heat-treated DCC Monoblock steel, or the NeoMag Alias system, with ride height and cant adjustment. Both right- and left-handed builds qualify for our fastest Quick Ship tier.
Light-Bearing: Around twenty molded light fitments, including the Streamlight TLR-1 / HL / HL-X, TLR-2, and TLR-7 series, Surefire X300U-A & B and XC-series, Inforce, Olight, and Sig Foxtrot lights — and here the 509 stands out: the TLR-1, TLR-1 HL-X, TLR-7, and X300U-A & B combinations all Quick Ship in both hands. Every shell is molded to the exact gun-and-light combination.
OWB — Standard & Nidhogg: The same family fitment and light catalog outside the waistband — belt carry on the Standard OWB, range and duty-style configurations on the Nidhogg.
Daishō AIWB Sidecar: Holster and magazine carrier bridged by a flexible Tegris wing with adjustable cant — the Daishō carries the 509/M/TAC family fitment, and left-handed builds are Quick Ship eligible.
