DWX Compact Fitment — Non-Railed Only
Dan Wesson builds the DWX Compact in two configurations — railed and non-railed dust covers — and they are different guns at the molding stage. Our dedicated Compact shell is formed on the non-railed version: the smooth dust cover, alloy frame, and single-action hammer all molded exactly, with retention clicking on the trigger guard. If your Compact wears a rail, this fitment won’t retain it correctly — contact us before ordering. Suppressor-height sights clear as standard, with optic accommodation for slide-mounted red dots.

Carry Options for the DWX Compact
Inside the Waistband (IWB): This is the DWX built for the waistband — our IWB rig pairs the alloy frame with an in-house concealment claw and your choice of injection-molded clips, heat-treated DCC Monoblock steel, or the NeoMag Alias system, with ride height and cant adjustment. Right-hand builds qualify for our fastest Quick Ship tier.
Nidhogg OWB: The same dedicated fitment outside the waistband for range and working carry — right-hand builds Quick Ship eligible.
Daishō AIWB Sidecar: Holster and magazine carrier bridged by a flexible Tegris wing with adjustable cant — the Daishō carries a dedicated DWX Compact fitment, and left-handed builds are Quick Ship eligible.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my DWX Compact is railed or non-railed?
Look at the dust cover under the barrel: if it has accessory-rail slots for a light, it’s railed; if it’s smooth, it’s non-railed. Our fitment covers the non-railed version — railed owners, contact us to hear where that fitment stands.
Will a full-size DWX holster fit the Compact?
No — the Compact wears its own slide length and an alloy frame, and each gets its own dedicated shell. Select your exact model in the builder.
Can I get a left-handed DWX Compact holster?
Left-handed Daishō sidecar builds are available and Quick Ship; left-hand IWB and Nidhogg aren’t currently offered. Contact us if you need one — demand decides what we mold next.
Will the holster clear a red dot on my Compact?
Yes — slide-mounted red dots and suppressor-height sights clear as standard at no extra cost.
